Inge Schröder
Inge Schröder is Scientific Head of the Muthesius Transferpark, a newly founded Centre of the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel. Born in 1954, she studied Biology at Kiel University, and completed her PhD there in 1981. After that she had several jobs in different fields in business and in academia. In 2003, three years after her habilitation in Anthropology, she left the university to work for a company in the field of medical technology.
From 2007 to 2017 she was CEO of the Wissenschaftszentrum in Kie , a public company that was established to promote knowledge and technology transfer between universities and the business world.
During her university career Inge published many scientific papers and gave a lot of lectures. Since then she has continued to give talks and workshops about a broader variety of topics, nourished by her particular professional environment. Inge is very curious, she loves to learn new things and share knowledge with other people.
In her spare time, she is on stage as a (political) cabaret artist together with her group “Frauenkabarett Kronshagen”. From time to time, Inge retreats into the wilderness of East Africa, to get back in touch – with herself and the planet
